Hey y’all! Welcome back to Chicago Sews. If you’re new here, welcome; we are glad to have you. We have some fantastic things for March in honor of National Quilting Month.
We’re going to kick it off with our monthly Sip & Sew. This month, we’re quilting together. Each member block will be assembled into the first Chicago Sews banner. For more information and to access the free pattern, see the link below. Feel free to choose a block that speaks to those of you who are confident quilters already.
For those who want to share your work, bring/send your block. We’ll meet at Sew on Central on March 16 at 2 pm to assemble our crafty collection into a Chicago Sews Banner. The download above has all the instructions you need to get started. You can use the provided block, use a completely different block, or let your imagination guide you. We just ask that you stick to the provided measurements.
If you are one of our out-of-state members and want to participate, or if you are local but can’t make it in person, reach out here, and we’ll provide you with instructions to get your block to us.
